On my previous post, I talked about stuff you can do with pumpkin waste. Pureeing pumpkin pulp (the guts) is where the fun starts. I did just that a few days ago, and today, I’m using the pumpkin puree to make a homemade Pumpkin Latte. It’s relatively simple, really. Make your favorite cup of coffee, use your favorite sweetener (mine is Splenda), and milk or a creamer.
I added in some plain almond milk and used a Hazelnut Coffee mate creamer, to add some texture and some good nutty flavor, which complements the pumpkin. Of course, you can’t have a pumpkin Latte without some pumpkin spice! I would add whip to make my coffee more photogenic, but I don’t usually have whip on hand (oh well). The only thing missing is a piece of some pumpkin pie.
