Coffee prices reach all time high

It’s not surprising that coffee, like many other resources, are experiencing price increases and shortages, as it demand is rather high as America is recovering from the pandemic. Coffee is currently $2 a pound; it previously was just a little over $1 a pound.

It’s reached the highest prices it has since 2011, whose peak pricing was an insane $3 a pound, due to bad harvests that year. Another major factor is Vietnam, a major producer of Robusta beans, locking down due to COVID-19.
